The standard office typology for the Headquarters proposal was challenged by asking how the efficiencies could be kept but still break away from typical office massings. Given the site location, there is clear 360 degree view into Omaha’s unbroken landscape and horizon line which fed into the design narrative. The overall form takes cues from Omaha’s climate and wind  by shifting the massings for thermal comfort and user views.

The project asked for a proposal of how to connect these two buildings in a phased sequence. By shifting/sliding the angled facades, the skyway connection is embedded into the massings as whole and a space of interaction clear the plan. Overall, the proposal, does not treat the building with clear front or back but rather a relationship to the adjacent highway and prospective site masterplan.
